One pan smoked paprika & thyme chicken, Q&A with the brilliant food writer Sue Quinn & casual comfort
Autumn tides
Hello to you all and here I am another week has flown by and I have been on the move again. How are you? I would love to hear from you and know what you have been cooking? As ever comment below or email me.
I am sitting at my desk looking out to the bay at Harlyn in Cornwall. It is so lovely to return to our home to Cornwall where we will be for the next month before I head to the Caribbean shores and restaurant Calypso Grill.
Travelling for work and having the opportunity to bring my ethos and style to this restaurant has been thrilling and something I never thought I would do. So always dream big you never know what is around the corner.
This week is a post for my paid community I will be sharing with you a quick and simply one pot autumnal dish. A one pan smoked paprika chicken with chickpeas, rainbow chard & thyme. Super quick and easy to make using chicken thighs which are so delicious and often underrated. I also head back to my archives for more comfort recipes that you need.
In my style section this week casual comfort is so essential. I share some of my favourites. Scroll for inspiration to keep you warm and cosy this winter.
For now it is seaside walks at Harlyn and last edits for my new book. This is such an exciting time after months of work seeing my book in flat plan form.
Talking about books the world of food writing is the best and I feel so lucky to be a published author. It feels so collaborative and supportive and I have met so many wonderfully creative people. With that in mind I am delighted to welcome the award winning food writer, journalist and cookbook author Sue Quinn to my Substack Shore to Shore. Sue has pulled up a chair at my kitchen table for a relaxed Q&A which I think you will love. Thank you so much Sue for being here. Ex
